I am patient and encouraging, and I enjoy making learning less stressful and more manageable. I support students at their own pace and celebrate their progress.
I am approachable, and I listen carefully to understand what someone is struggling with before helping them. I also break problems down into simple steps and guide others until they feel confident solving them on their own.

• I was awarded the Golden Key International Honour Society Award in my second year of university and I am currently a part of the society.

Afrikaans
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI did Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) in high school. I can speak and write in Afrikaans, and enjoy speaking Afrikaans with my friends who dont know how to speak Afrikaans and teaching them a few phrases, which they have successfully learned. I listen to Afrikaans music from time to time.
